I Trust You

God,

Hi. How are you today? I hope your day is going well. I hope that there were thousands of people who turned to You today.. that made the decision to rely on You and to trust You for all of time. I am sorry that I was not one of them today. In fact, I think it has been a few weeks since I've given You my trust. You know what I have been going through... all the junk that has crowded my mind and my heart... all the decisions and loose ends that are begging to be dealt with, but I lack the wisdom to address. God, I want to say publicly that I trust You.
I know that You will work all of these issues out... that You will settle my heart and give me peace. Help me to make wise choices... to become more and more every day the man You have created me to be. Forgive me for the sin that lies deeply rooted in my soul. Your Son, Jesus, died on the cross to save me.... to sanctify me and to make me holy. I accept it, God... I do. I believe... I believe that Your Word is true, even though at times I blatantly disregard Your commands. You are the One that I serve.. my Master, my Keeper, the great God of heaven, the One who shakes the very foundations of earth. I love You... and I give You my heart, this December night. May Your will take precedence over my own, each and every day that I exist, and may my life be Your handiwork. I can't wait to spend more time with You.
